U.S. Patent Defense for Medical Device Launch

After receiving a U.S. patent warning from 3Gen in 2016, ILLUCO paused their U.S. business plans. BLT stepped in with a detailed non-infringement and invalidity strategy under Korea’s National Patent Dispute Support Program.


This enabled ILLUCO to resume its market entry, sign an OEM agreement with U.S.-based INNOVA Illumination, and launch its medical loupes and dermoscopy tools at the 2024 AAD Dermatology Conference.
